At Williamson's Chapel, your youngest ones experience God's love in tangible ways as they are nurtured by our caring, professionally staffed nursery.
On Sunday Mornings we have nursery available during the 9:30 and 11:00 services.
What is First Look?First Look preschool curriculum gives children a first impression of their heavenly Father and the WONDER of His love for each of them.
On Sunday mornings in First Look, your preschooler or Kindergartner will learn who God is through three basic truths:
- God made me.
- God loves me.
- Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
What happens on Sunday morning?
Children from 4 years old to kindergartners will meet in a small group, with a loving leader who will guide them through fun activities that introduce them to God and to the weekly Bible story.
The children will also expereince an age appropriate worship experience, where they will hear an engaging Bible story and experience worship through song and dance.
Each week we aim to provide an experience where children are able to explore and learn more about the God that loves them so much.
What is 252 Kids?
Just as Luke 2:52 teaches us that "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man," we want children to grow in their understanding of God and DISCOVER how much fun it can be! Each month at 252 Kids we focus on one Life App that will help kids learn three basic truths:
- I can trust God no matter what.
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
- I need to make the wise choice.
What to expect on Sunday morning?
Children meet in small groups with a dedicated leader, who will guide the children through interactive activities and games that relate to the weekly Bible story, as well as build relationships with the children. The children also join together for a meaningful worship time. During our worship, kids will experience worship through song and dance, hear a relevant Bible story and experience traditional aspects of worship.
The "tween" years can be a difficult time in the life of a child. Fourth and fifth graders don't see themselves as "children" anymore, but they are not quite ready to move on to Youth Group... WC Kids offers a ministry just for pre-teens! Our goal is to offer programs that will speak to these pre-teens where they are at ... through relevant Bible studies, topics and discussions, mission opportunities, and fun fellowship activities. We also want to ensure that these kids have a smooth transition to the Youth Group when they get to 6th grade. Come join us for lots of fun and fellowship!!
All 4th and 5th graders welcome!
Join us for Dinner, Bible Study,
Fellowship and Games!
At WC Kids, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be fun and loud, and great leaders always care!
We have many different opportunities for children from infant through 5th grade to get involved. Whether it's Sunday mornings, tween ministries, Vacation Bible School, or other special events; we are thrilled to have your child join us as we get to know Jesus in a fun and engaging way.
WC Kids Policies and Information
Williamson's Chapel is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children, youth, and volunteers who participate in ministries and activities sponsored by the church. Our Safe Sanctuary Policy statements reflect our congregation's commitment to preserving this church as a holy place of safety and protection for all who would enter and as a place in which all people can experience the love of God through relationships with others. Safe Sanctuaries training and a background check is mandatory for all volunteers who work with children and/or youth. To read a copy of our Safe Sanctuary Policy click here.
Our goal at Williamson's Chapel is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our children. We encourage the use of hand sanitizer as children are dropped off and prior to handling any food items. We also use disinfectant spray on toys and in the classrooms.
We ask you, the parents and guardians to help us in our efforts. In the event your child is feeling under the weather we ask, in consideration of the other children, that he/she be allowed to recover at home. If your child has any of the following symptoms he/she will not be permitted to participate in WC Kidz events, childcare or programming...
- Yellow or greenish discharge from the eyes or nose
- Heavy coughing or excessive sneezing
- A temperature over 100 (Must be fever free for 24 hours)
- An earache or stomachache
- Vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours
- Any contagious rashes or infections
- Sore throat, unless strep has been ruled out
Additionally, if your child develops any of these symptoms in our care we will call on you to pick up your child. If your child is not feeling well, but lacks any specific symptoms, please keep them home. This is best for your child and for the other children he/she may come in contact with.
