United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. Our small organized groups called Circles meet monthly to enjoy fellowship and carry out our focus on ministries with women, children, and youth locally and globally. All women are welcome. You do not have to be a member of Williamson's Chapel to join a UMW Circle.

Within the last couple of years, our church launched a new group with the name Foundry, recalling our Methodist history. A foundry is where metal is cast and takes its shape. Likewise, your 20s and 30s is the time when your adult life is taking shape. The purpose of our new Foundry group is to help those in their 20s and 30s shape their lives spiritually after the example of Jesus.
The best place to keep up with us is in our Facebook group. I hope you'll join us at one of our next events. If you are single or married, in your 20s or 30s, and looking for a community of friends seeking to grow in Christ and serve those in need, then you've found the right place in Foundry.
If would like to be a part of this vibrant and growing young adult community, contact Denise Addington. We'll be glad to get you connected right away.
Foundry meets for Discipleship Study online.
Contact Denise Addington to join.
We have groups at WCUMC that fit most any place and stage of life. As a community of believers, it is vital that we continue to develop relationships with others who are in similar seasons of life and people who we can relate to. Our hope is that these groups can reach people where they are and encourage Christian friendship, discipleship, and servanthood among our church family.
