Jamaica Deaf Village
For over 10 years, Williamson's Chapel has been developing relationships with the Jamaican Deaf Village. What started as a mission project to improve the facilities at the Deaf Village, has now turned into an equal partnership with them. Through their gracious hospitality and assistance, our teams have been able to reach out to surrounding churches, schools, and orphanages. We are particularly excited about the work we were able to do on our most recent trip to the New Hope Orphanage. They serve around thirty children, and most of them have special needs. Our teams were truly blessed and very grateful for the opportunities they had to minister to all the children and staff. They showed their love in so many ways, from holding VBS event, to fixing leaky roofs, and everything in between. Click to learn more about the Jamaican Deaf Village and their story.
Jamaica Deaf Village | Go Grow Together Campaign
With the Go Grow Together you can raise funds for the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf while you pray and impact your neighborhood by serving the community around you.
When you sign up by getting a shirt, you will be added to the Go Grow Together campaign through CCCD. They will have many suggested activities for you to participate in. The two activities we are recommending are prayer and finding ways to serve where you are, but you are welcome to do as many as you feel led. You can also opt to make a donation to CCCD without getting a shirt if you prefer.
