Amiee is a native of Mocksville, NC with a background in education as a middle and high school teacher and cheerleading coach from metropolitan Atlanta to rural Davie County. She is a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and served as the youth and children's program coordinator at Chestnut Grove UMC prior to her move to Lake Norman in 2015. She also teaches 6th grade at Liberty Prep Christian Academy in Mooresville and serves as a competition cheerleading coach at her Alma Mater, Davie County High School. Amiee received her undergraduate degrees in Special Education and Psychology from UNC-Wilmington and attended The University of Georgia for graduate school. When Amiee is not involved in hanging out with young people you may find her out on the lake or at one of her favorite NC beaches with her husband, Phil and daughter, Carsen. She's also a big college sports fan and loves the Duke Blue Devils and the Georgia Bulldogs. Amiee believes that her calling is to serve youth inside and outside of the church, and she knew immediately that God had a home for her at Williamson's Chapel from the day she moved to Mooresville. She leans on Jeremiah 29:11 as her life verse and shares that faith with the young people she comes in contact with.
